Geissen, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic and a Train

These have been our locations thus far. We had a great stay with my friend Phil Minnich and his wife Maria in his new home in Giessen, Germany. From there we took a day trip to a beautiful German village called Marburg. Like most German towns, it had a sweet castle overlooking the winding streets and homes built into the side of the hill.

We barely beat a large storm (really ominous looking clouds) out of Germany and boarded a 9 hour turned 15 hour train ride to Prague. Prague has been absolutely gorgeous so far. It reminds me at times of so many cities...St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Salzburg, Venice, Rome. So much character and so much life. My pictures should prove it and we spend the day here tomorrow before getting on a train (or plane as Kory always says) to Munich where we will make a quick travel day from there to Garmisch area to Salzburg.

We are getting along so well and really enjoying each other's company a lot. No one has beaten up the other and we still like each other. We trust this will continue. We are just trying to soak up the reality that we are really blessed to be here.

Until next time...goodnight from beautiful Prague.

Sounds awesome. I wish that I was along if for nothing else but to share the enjoyment of the traveling "Eurodudes"

You're lucky I'm not there Kyle. I'd beat you up, just because I know it helps you sleep at night.
