Munich, Rain, and Thankful

We are in Munich. It is pouring down raining. We think we are just going to stay here for about 3 hours or so. Hit up the garden with the naked sunbathers (doubt they'll be out...nor would we want them to be) and the city centre before booking it out of Germany to Austria. We have plans to stay in Halstatt tonight, a village that has evidence of human existence about 4500 years ago. We'll see if we make it.

The other night we talked about what we are thankful for. We are realizing how blessed we are to be here. We talked about how our parents have made this possible by providing in so many ways over the years. No way we'd be here if not for their help. We talked about how big God is. He actually cares about the 1.2 million people in Prague that we have never even thought about. He cares about the homeless man sitting next to me in this internet cafe looking on ebay. He cares about almost 7 billion people alive today. And sometimes we think it's all about us.

We are also thankful for laughter and the unique sense of humor that each of us possess. We are thankful for how well things have gone and how well we have gotten along. We are thankful for each other. How fun this has been.

Well, we have some exciting plans over the next week, pending the rain. Hopefully, in a couple of days we'll be in Slovenia going down rivers in the Mountains! We need some craziness and we can't wait to go canyoning and hydrospeed. Google those words. It's gonna be tight.
