Lietuva = RAIN

I awoke sweating underneath my cozy, thick, feather down comforter. I hopped quickly out of bed onto the cement floor to look out the window and face a sight for sore eyes. It was raining! And, for a country that boasts 70 dry days out of 365, it was my first. Fortunately, I enjoyed 17 straight days of sunshine in which I saw little more than 2 drops of rain. Well, as they say in Lithuania, LIETUVA, the rainy season has arrived. My 25 minute jaunt to class may become a little less desirable over the coming months. I may do even more cooking in the friendly confines of my dorm (Yes, I am becoming quite the Naked Chef). The rest of my day may consist of a matinee in the theatre, a matinee in my bed, or lots of reading that I have continually put off over the past 2 weeks. I hope that your weather is great, but I am convinced after 21 years of living on this unpredictable globe we call earth, LIFE WILL GO ON. And my amazing God is yet the same God He was yesterday. Praise the Lord!
